For those who love retro seventies tableware; the kind your Italian granny would love at her alfresco table. This mustard yellow stoneware jug is hand painted with a satisfyingly clumsy tomato illustration, glazed to give it a lustrous finish and stamped with Gallo Calvados Handgemalt on the unglazed base.
Villeroy and Boch were founded by iron master Francois Boch and his three sons in 1748. This particular collection is estimated to have been made between 1960-1969 in Italy.
