If you loved the retro seventies stoneware your Italian granny has in her collection, collect the entire collection of Vintage Villeroy & Boch tableware. These chunky rounded bowls are hand painted with a satisfyingly clumsy tomato illustration inside; a welcome sight when you've finished your tomato pasta. Each piece is glazed to give it a lustrous finish and stamped with the Gallo cockerel symbol on the base. Serve alfresco at a gingham-checked table so that it feels like you're in the Tuscan sunshine.
Villeroy and Boch were founded by iron master Francois Boch and his three sons in 1748. This particular collection is estimated to have been made between 1960-1969 in Italy.
