Vintage Anchor Hocking Milk Carnival Glass Dessert Plates (Set of Three) with Gold Trim

A cherished set of three vintage plates by collectors' favourite, Anchor Hocking. This 1920s manufacturer became the largest producer of pressed glass tableware thanks to its automated manufacturing process, allowing them to create elegant pieces at an accessible cost.

While Anchor Hocking is most celebrated for its iridescent 'Carnival Glass' (also known as aurora glass due to the 'oil on water' effect created by pressed metal salts), this collection offers something rarer.

This plate collection is a rare example of 'Fire King' or Milk Carnival Glass, distinguished by its milky white finish and subtle iridescence. Highly sought after by vintage collectors for its rarity, this set of three dessert plates features a beautiful fluted, swirling border reminiscent of conch shells, finished with a delicate gold trim along the rim.

Our vintage homewares are one of a kind, curated from founder Lexi's personal collection collected over the years from antiques markets and vintage fairs so all items come preloved but still in excellent condition.

We mail out orders two days a week: Tuesdays and Fridays. We aim to have your order out the door the same day wherever possible but our default days are the above.

RETURNS
