The Asparagus Densiflorus is an alternative to the well known asparagus fern as this one is compact and perennial and grows as plumes of needles that trail and sprawl outwards. This miniature version is a fake alternative that appears as if it's just starting to grow as this plant can grow up to half a metre - certainly not in this case though!
