This artisan-made ceramic butter dish features a matching lid and a gleaming sea green glaze, reminiscent of the English coast. The interior reveals an intensely deep, contrasting purple hue. Due to the complex three-kiln firing process, every single piece is completely unique, with variations in colour and finish ensuring no two dishes are exactly alike.
We have only a limited number of these stunning pieces available—once they are sold, they are gone. Crafted with meticulous care, this butter dish makes a truly unique wedding gift or a treasured addition to your own kitchen for years to come.
Handmade by HLW Ceramics in her Camberley, Surrey studio, this wheel-thrown pottery combines classic silhouettes with bold, characterful glazes. Crafted from smooth stoneware clay, each piece is bisque-fired, glazed with high-quality stoneware glazes, and then finished with a delicate hint of gold brushed onto the lid. This time and skill-heavy, three-stage firing process ensures a truly artisan-made approach.
Set includes a lid and cover.
We recommend hand wash only.
Handmade from stoneware and fired three times in a kiln to develop the unusual glazes. The exact colour, size and finish will always vary and no pieces will ever be the same colour and finish so we can't guarantee the colour and finish of your item will appear the same as that pictured.

We ship to the UK and the US (standard only). We use an automated shipping calculator based on weight and location.
Standard Delivery: from £4.95 (3-5 working days for the UK, delivery to the US will take longer)
Premium Delivery (UK ONLY): £14.95 (5-7 working days)
Furniture & Oversized Items Delivery (UK ONLY): £35 (5-7 working days)
International Delivery: We are pleased to offer standard delivery to the US. Please note we have suspended European delivery for the foreseeable.
We mail out orders two days a week: Tuesdays and Fridays. We aim to have your order out the door the same day wherever possible but our default days are the above.
RETURNS
We have a 14 day returns policy. Unless the item is damaged or faulty the customer is responsible for the return postage. Please refer to the full terms and conditions for further information.
