A traditional absinthe is prepared by placing the absinthe spoon on top of a glass of absinthe and then a sugar cube atop the spoon. Ice water is slowly dripped from a fountain or carafe until the water and sugar have dissolved together into the green spirit. These unusual spoons are both decorative and useful as stirrers for any other drink or for those master cocktail makers who want to step up their game.
