An artisan-made ceramic butter dish and matching lid in an earthy speckled sand hue, the colour of a desert horizon, and an intensely deep, contrasting purple inside. Every piece is completely unique because of the variation in colours that emerge through the three kiln firing process.
We only have a few of these stunning pieces available, once they're gone they're gone! If you're looking for a truly unique wedding gift idea, this would have our top vote. Made with meticulous care, it's a piece to be treasured for years to come.
HLW Ceramics works from her home studio in Camberley, Surrey to create wheel-thrown pottery that embodies classic and timeless silhouettes with bold and characterful glazes that you won't find anywhere else. Each piece is handmade on a potter's wheel, using a smooth stoneware clay, bisque-fired in a kiln and then glazed with high quality stoneware glazes. The top of each butter dish is then brushed with a hint of gold and the whole piece is fired a third time. A time and skill-heavy process that embodies the artisan-made approach to ceramics.
