Match Strike Labat Black

Out of stock
£35.00

For those who love vintage home accessories and French style, this black and white porcelain match striker is inspired by designs found in bars and bistros in France during the late 19th and early 20th century. It's multipurpose; with a place to store fresh matches in the centre and a striated blue base to strike the match. These historical inspired pieces were normally used to advertise French brands and were often hand-lettered with brand names and products.

H9cm x ⌀8cm

Matches included.
Handmade from porcelain with hand-painted lettering.
Please note, these won't work with ordinary kitchen matches. Only use matches with 'white tip' or 'light anywhere' matches that are designed to ignite easily and quickly on a variety of surfaces unlike 'strike on the box' matches which will only ignite when struck on their box.
