Iridescent Glaze Mug
Handmade by HLW Ceramics, these gorgeous limited edition mugs are finished with a seriously unusual, iridescent glaze that captures an entire spectrum of colours from the lilac and sea green of mother of pearl shells to the inky black and blue of an oil puddle. Every mug is completely unique because of the variation in colours that emerge through the three kiln firing process and this design is completely exclusive to Always Sunday.

HLW Ceramics works from her home studio in Camberley, Surrey to create wheel-thrown pottery that embodies classic and timeless silhouettes with bold and characterful glazes that you won't find anywhere else.
Each piece is handmade on a potter's wheel, using a smooth stoneware clay, bisque-fired in a kiln and then glazed with high quality stoneware glazes. Once this first glaze is dry they'll go through another glaze fire which creates the beautiful mother of pearl finish, giving each piece that iridescent lustre, setting those incredible colours and making each one ultimately strong and durable.

Handmade from stoneware and fired three times in a kiln to develop the unusual glazes. The exact colour and finish will always vary and no two mugs will be the same colour and finish.
Although these mugs are technically suitable for the dishwasher we would absolutely recommend hand wash only to preserve the beautiful glaze finish.
